I get a kick out of the British. They think a 350 (5.7 liters) is huge whereas in the states 500+ci (8.3 liters+) is fairly normal for a hot rod.

Not just the British. I dare say most of the world thinks a 5.7L engine is huge. You guise and the aussies are alone in this one...

As a first generation American born English motorcyclist, I think 5.7 litres is absolutely humongous. 5 litres is the maximum I could imagine being somewhat normal for a petrol engine, anything above that I would expect to be diesel and in a commercial vehicle.

My 2.0 liter engine is considered a larger than average engine over here. The vast majority of engines fit in the 1.2-2.0 range. I personally regret not getting the larger engine option, but that's not the point I guess.

We have a history of large displacement engines. And a lot cheaper gasoline cost. Currently paying around $3 gallon (3.78 liters). The 2 liter engines are gaining a lot of popularity though. Especially the turbo ones.

Two of the cars I have owned in the past had 8.3 liter engines. My motorcycle is 1.3 liters and that is small by new standards. Many of those are 1.85+ liters.

So who thinks theses guys deserve a spot on jalopnik. One of my favorite car flip shows, even get the wife to watch it but, I think it would cool to see them here like we do with other famous show host. Ie like Rutledge Wood. Just to get them in on the community one of our British Couterparts has to know them.

aussie in the US, and I think 5.7l is huge. Actually, most times its the power that gets me, 100hp/L is kind of my expectation (not taking into account torque)

that front end rebuild was impressive, even though I'm guessing he was following a process others have done before him, its nice to see Edd showing some real talent.
